Family Medicine was in a Situation a lot of our clients find themselves in before they come to us.  (their stuff is held hostage by the developer).

They worked with another local website development company to develop their website only to find out after it’s done that it was written in some type of language only the developer (or a rare breed) can manipulate, then waiting ridiculous amounts of time to get anything done or changed on the site and at continuing costs.  and they could not access the site to make the changes themselves...

..The Market Store came for an initial consultation and learned through a discovery meeting that one of the main things they wanted was control over their own Website and Content on an ongoing basis as well as get allot more visibility online. For some reason (poor SEO tactics) you could not find their website even when you typed their name in Google.  

.. During the discovery meeting we talked about using social networking to achieve the goal of connecting with potential new residents and getting more applications annually. They expressed that they wanted to learn more about how to use Facebook and other social media to drive more students to apply online to their Residency program and provide info and resources to help them apply here in Las Cruces.   

..Another challenge was that since it was a multiple year program, all the pictures and info would be changed annually if not bi annually and they wanted a solution to that as well and keep it all in house to keep expenses down.  We came up with a plan to accomplish these goals and added a few extra things to enhance the main tools..

  1. Rebuild site with clean fresh look
  2. Build in CMS (Content Management System) & Train
  3. Start with good SEO tactics to get noticed and build into the design.
  4. Easy access to Application info
  5. Build easy to update profiles and bios of residents and faculty as needed
  6. Linked in the WIKI resource for this Client
  7. Created FB Fan page and strategically launched it after site to most all targeted institutions with incoming graduates looking for residencies.
  8. Trained client to use the FB Fanpage with events, fun things etc… to draw traffic and select individuals for the program.
  9. Set up detailed traffic analysis tools.

We also created a full walk through interactive virtual tour of the facility for prospective residents.
These simple changes with some training has created some very happy clients for The Market Store.  They are now getting more inquires, More applications, More traffic, More interaction, More referrals, and a lot of the costly marketing efforts that used to cost thousands to reach prospective residents now only require a little more time on their part and a lot less money.

This is how we achieved an SMS or "Self Marketing System" to solve a challenge that was previousluy costing alot more to reach the same target audience.
